dumb ass. this is an excerpt from an ebola case
- He opens his mouth and gasps into the bag, and the vomiting goes on endlessly. It will not stop, and he keeps bringing up liquid, long after his stomach should have been empty. The airsickness bag fills up to the brim with a substance known as vomito negro, or the black vomit. The black vomit is not really black; it is speckled liquid of two colors, black and red, a stew of tarry granules mixed with fresh red arterial blood. It is hemorrhage, and it smells like a slaughterhouse. The black vomit is loaded with virus. It is highly infective, lethally hot, a liquid that would scare the daylights out of any military biohazard specialist.
The incubation period for Ebola runs from 4-16 days, depending upon strain. The death rate is 70%-90% of those who are infected. The Ebola virus causes severe hemorrhagic fevers. Those that are infected could progress until they become very ill. The range of the severity could be from a relatively mild illness to even death.
The Ebola virus can be easily transmitted through direct contact of blood, organs, secretions and semen of a person that is infected. The virus can be spread through infected needles that are reused (this is a common practice in some 3rd world countries). It can also be spread by sexual contact between an infected person. Recovered patients do not pose a serious threat of infecting another person. But the virus may be present in a human's body 7 weeks after being treated. The vomit and diarrhea are filled with blood and mucus with the Ebola virus in it. Any person with close physical contact should be under strict surveillance. The Ebola virus is highly contagious and is not airborne
Symptoms of the Ebola virus begin 4 to 16 days after the person is infected. Beginning symptoms are headaches, fevers, chills, muscle aches, and loss of appetite. The patients have limited kidney and liver functions, and have internal and external bleeding. The blood does not clot which can cause some serious problems. It cause the capillaries to bleed into surrounding tissue. The death of a patient occurs from 8-17 days after an infection. When the disease progresses, patients experience diarrhea, rash, sore throat, vomiting, abdominal pain, and chest pain.
There is no vaccine that exist for the Ebola virus. Those that are infected need intensive care. They need intravenous fluids because they are constantly dehydrated. There are many special precautions that must be used to control the outbreak of Ebola. Gloves, masks and suits are needed for doctors and researchers when working with an Ebola victim. Proper sterilization techniques of equipment is also practiced. An infected person must be isolated. All disposable materials are burned, any reusable materials and work area are sterilized after use. Corpses must also be dealt with carefully and properly too.
HOPE U LEARNT SUMTHIN USEFUL BUDDY!
